Celebration is must if something excellent happens. Just an idea to share the joy with your loved ones is so energetic. Celebration of a small event enhances its integrity. It is not just about fun, dance, drinks and dishes, but the real celebration is a get together, discussion, and an enjoyment that strengthen the emotional bonding between people. Celebration is an opportunity to express your feelings. It gives the chance to say thanks to us. It brings the detached ones closer. It re-unites friends, ends enmity, and clears misunderstandings. Celebration gives us energy to work to have another such bash in near future. Celebration gives us memories for lifetime. Celebrations stand as powerhouses, checkpoints, and deadlines. Celebrations teach us the art of living.
By the grace of our ancestors, we Indian have many festivals to celebrate. We can celebrate each season, each change that occurs in the nature. In today’s fast-food age, we must consider these festivals as a chance to have a fine get together than that of to perform the religious rituals. The religious base is important, as it is the only thing, which kept these traditions alive from ages. However, we may simplify the rituals. No need to leave them completely, but we can make the creative adjustments – off course positively – to make the celebration more energetic. Such celebrations would be real memorable ones for us.

The Night gifts
Since ages, the night is the symbol of evil for many. The concept of dark is used to represent seamy side of the life most of the times. In literature, they used it to glorify the immoral deeds. In gothic fictions, the night is usually the evil’s rule. For cops, it is the most hectic period, full of crimes. For typical middle-class people, it is time to lock the houses and sleep, as they strongly believe that those who work or enjoy until late night are simply spoiling their life. However, the night is the sweetest gift of nature -- full of dreams, pleasures, peace, blossom, love, and adventures.
Indeed, each second of every day has its own flavor, own beauty and own strength. We get little period to enjoy the beauty of nature due to the limitations of life. In such a short life, isn’t it unwise to be choosy about the best part of the day and worst one? The pleasant dawns, bright sunny days, brighter afternoons, colorful twilights, and finally the peaceful, dreamy, starry, lovely nights – every form of the day is a miracle while the night is the most beautiful miracle of the nature.
Remember the childhood summer’s star-counting nights. Grandpa is telling a story from his endless collection. Keeping an ear to the story, you behold the stars. The story starts getting life in front of your eyes in the sky. A few stars join and King Vikram’s image forms, another group joins to form the ghost on his shoulder. The ghost starts the story of a grain-merchant and suddenly, stars change themselves into merchant’s bullock-cart. Clouds now form loads of grains and bullock carts’ run starts -- all this magic of imagination is a gift on night.
Remember the unusually dark nights of freezing winters. You are about to go to bed when a single call from friends, sets the sleep away from your eyes and you run to join bonfire with them. Night turns darker and the chitchat, which begins usually with a lighter note start getting a serious tone. Thoughts of life, dreams, future join the discussion. Someone is upset as his beloved is getting married with someone else, while another jobless is worried as his father is going to retire in next few days ahead of his sisters’ marriage. Somebody waits disparately for the important exam result, while another one at once recalls that the next day is his important interview. He leaves the group and one by one everyone follow his way. Now, the night is on its tip. Two of the friends are present around the bonfire, which is also about to extinguish.
“You are still thinking about her?” you ask the friend who is upset due to the marriage of his beloved. “Common, everything will be fine…” and your long consoling speech after which he slowly utters “Actually I was thinking about her younger sister. She is so cute…” and a grin appears on both of yours faces. Such ups-and-downs and tears and cheers are the gifts of night.
Re-think the stormy night in July’s last week. Electricity is gone from hours. She is preparing for the dinner – an unusual candle light one, and he is trying to tune up his guitar, when a sudden lightning, followed by a bang, opens the window. The unexpected ingress of wind – candles snuff out and she scares. Before she shouts with fear, he holds her in his arms and an intense embrace. Wind, allowing them the space to themselves, shuts the window down again. Love is the most precious gift of the night.
How rude it is to call it wretched?

Nasty decisions
Why do we take nasty decisions sometimes? It seems everything is going on just perfect, when somebody does something very surprising, shocking which completely changes the scene. Most of the times, the wrong decision taken makes a person suffer, makes his family, colleagues, friends suffer, but, still people stick on those decisions. What may be the mindscape behind this?
He was working and earning good. He successfully developed a good reputation, friend circle in his institution. Slowly, but surely, he was progressing, when at once he resigned. All his friends, his colleagues, his seniors tried hard to convince him, but his decision remained unchanged. Today, he is struggling again for job. Whoever knows him, calls him an unfortunate fellow. His one decision cost him his job, friends, reputation. However, he does not care for all this. He still supports his decision to resign a good organization. Why?
She was hardly seventeen or early eighteen when she decided to marry and give birth to her drunkard, flirt and jobless boyfriend’s child. Today, she works hard, for her child and lives away from her husband, who is still a jobless flirt. However, she still never regrets her decision.
In another case, a beautiful adorable girl, whose family cares for her a lot, wants to be live-in with her boyfriend, disobeying her caring parents. Here too, everyone else other than her firmly says that her decision is wrong, while she supports it.
Most of the time, everyone—not necessarily our friend, family or a person who knows us, but also the one who do not know us at all—too could analyze that our decision is wrong. Sometimes, at the particular point, even we realize that we were wrong, but still we insist on what we were decided. What makes us such stubborn? Firstly, what makes us to take an altogether wrong decision?, Our confusion, helplessness, immaturity, ego, or simply a psychological, or a mental disorder?
In some cases, people realize the mistake but the situation is like ‘It is now too late’ for them. Then, they start supporting their wrong did so that others would not be aware by their frustration. To hide their defeat, helplessness they start glorifying good results of their decision. While doing this, they look pitiful. They turn offensive, rather aggressive sometimes to hide their frustration. Do such people are mentally stable? We can call hardly a few people among these as mentally strong or stable. They realize their mistake, they admit it, and they try to recover from the disaster. This is, rather this should be the basic tendency to survive. “Yes, I was wrong, but I will try my best to be right again” should be the ideal attitude. Unfortunately, very few culprits among us have a heart to accept their mistakes.
Do the man, who left his good-going job for no reason will admit that he was wrong at that time?, do the lady, who is living a life of disgust would admit her mistake of getting married with an irresponsible person? Does the girl, wishing to be live-in with her boyfriend, disobeying loving parents have the heart to admit that she is completely wrong? No one among these three, no one among such hundreds of people and it is difficult even to get one even from one thousand such people. However, that ‘ one’; may be among ten thousand, or one lakh; who admits the mistake openly and starts a sincere try to recover from it, is a gem of a person. Until now, I have encountered with many nasty decision makers, but still awaiting for a gem.

Positivity sources
Should I welcome all with a few graceful words, as this is the opening statement of Chait-angle? Being the initial article of this blog, this must be a positive one. I try to be, to think, and to work with a positive vision. But searching for good in worst—searching for the God in evil—and searching for positivity in total negative circumstances, just for the sake of a positive thought may be a bit unwise. Then question comes to me—do I really know what is positive and what is negative? What is good and what is bad? Since years, whatever a larger group of people accepts is a good for all and the thing this group rejects turns bad. Is this a perfect way to decide good or bad? Instead of thinking it by our own, nowadays, we are following spiritual gurus to decide what is good and what is bad for us.
“Our Guruji is not like other self-made hypocrites. He never performs fake magic tricks; never counsel us to be isolate from the materialistic world neither told us to avoid luxuries in life.” My friend was very much energetic while describing his Guruji.
“Well, then what did he do?” I asked plainly.
“See, in our Ashram, we do meditation, we recite mantras for mental piece, and we obey Guruji’s orders which give us mental strength and positivity in vision. With this strength, we find peace and pleasure in life. Our Guruji is a source of positivity for us.”
“So, you depend on Guruji for the positive vision. Ever you asked how he gains positive energy to serve you.” This question aggravated him and he left saying “We don’t ask questions to Guruji.”
In fact, questions must be asked instead of hearing discourses, not only to others but also to self as questions let us think and thinking is progress. To follow somebody else’s path blindly is ignorance. The Gurujis, priests, and Babas suggest us Mantras, hymns, various techniques of stress management and religious discourses to find out the so-called pleasure in life, which we follow like orders. In fact, one who orders is a dictator, and those who fallow dictatorship are slaves. We are becoming spiritual slaves by fallowing somebody else without applying our mind.
The real Guru only hints an idea and let the disciples realize it through their though process.
There were two disciples of one Guru. Once, Guruji ordered them to bring wood from forests. He also suggested them to go and come back avoiding the Sun. One of the two disciples went in forest with a big sun umbrella and came back empty handed in the afternoon. The other one was a thinker. He realized the original message of his Guru and went into forest before the sunrise. He came back after the sunset with a heavy bunch of wood. He avoided the sun while going for and coming back from the work and successfully completed the given task too. How it happened?
The second disciple asked questions to himself. What may be the reason behind Guruji’s message? How to cut the wood avoiding sunrays?, and many more. His thought process continued and finally he got the real sense behind the message. The right way of thinking made his job easier. The Guru also let his disciples think because he does not want them to be spiritual slaves. He knows that to realize the knowledge, they have to think. Similarly, we have to think in order to realize the way of our life. How we can depend on somebody else’s experiences?
Their thoughts may be great, their studies may be vast, their experiences may be grand, but they are their thoughts, their studies, and their experiences. Where are our thoughts in this process? We may use great men’s thoughts as references. The epics, the religious, spiritual messages, discourses, experts’ views, and poems may be the study material, not the final answer sheet. Everyone have to prepare his final answer sheet by himself. At least everyone should prepare. When we will think, it will generate a vision, a positivity and the search for positivity sources will end right there. Then, there will be no need of meditation centers, Ashrams, Pravachans, speeches and rituals as every home, every mind, and every heart will become a lighthouse.
